Investing Opportunities in North Africa

Hosted by: Hivos

Everyone who started a new project in the Middle East knows upfront: this is not going to be an easy ride. There are risks on several levels. However, there are also opportunities for businesses and investors. Examples include the Tunisian company that successfully ships design handicraft products to Rotterdam or the company that is outsourcing young, agile IT-talent to Europe.

This Meetup can provide relevant contacts, insights and inside knowledge from the North African startup ecosystem. This is due to the attendance of key players in the investment scene, including at least 8 young and promising companies from Tunisia and Egypt.

Moderator: Keith Wallace
For: investors, companies, government officials, and NGOs

BOOST (Boosting Bottom-Up Societal Transformation) is a program run by Hivos which is aimed at enabling grassroots social entrepreneurs to create the positive change they envision for their communities.
