Creating a landscape restoration movement with media and communication

Hosted by: Wessel van Eeden

Did you know that nature-based solutions can contribute up to 37% of the carbon emission intake required to keep global warming below 2 degrees Celsius?

With help of nature-based solutions, dry land can be made green again. Together with local partners, Justdiggit inspires and actives farmers in Africa to start regreening, positively impacting climate change, nature and people. Degraded landscapes are restored by combining traditional techniques with new technology. There are many ways to restore degraded landscapes, but only one way to succeed: we have to do this together! Our unique approach is a media and communication-based strategy, involving all available communication and media on a local, regional, national and international level. With these positive campaigns, we aim to amplify the effect of landscape restoration programs, thereby creating a landscape restoration movement.

Curious about how we do this exactly? Or do you have inspiring new ideas that you would like to share? Join the session!
